Kremlin: Russia to ready oil price limit retaliation in few days

MOSCOW, Dec 12 (PRIME) -- Russia's retaliation to the introduction of an oil price limit by the West will be finalized and instituted by a presidential decree in a few days, spokesman for the president Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.

"I want to reiterate that the president said in Bishkek that there would be the decree, and the president said then that there were some aspects that were discussed,” the official said. “This discussion will be finalized in the coming days and instituted in the form of a presidential decree."

The oil sanctions entered in force on December 5, with the E.U. refusing to accept Russian oil carried by sea, and the G7 states, Australia and the E.U. limiting the price of oil carried this way at U.S. $60 per barrel.
